Covid-19
- The current number of Covid-19 positive individuals in the host district (Hokkaido) is about 4000 per day (as of July 26, 2022). In terms of population, this equates to 0.08% per day, or about 0.8% over a 10-day period.
https://stopcovid19.hokkaido.dev/en/ - As shown below, we believe that the risk of infection is quite low at the IVC conference center due to the Covid-19 infection control measures (wearing masks, not admitting people who are not feeling well, etc.).
- If you are not feeling well during the conference and Covid-19 infection is suspected, we will refer you to a hospital.

We, the organizing committee, require participants to take all of the following actions:
- Scan your body temperature with a non-contact thermometer and clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer provided at Conference Hall entrance.
- Wear face masks that fully cover your nose and mouth in the Conference Hall.
- Maintain social distancing.
- Do not speak while eating and drinking.
- If you develop symptoms of a cold (fever, fatigue, etc.), remain in your hotel room and join the conference on-line.
- If you become PCR-positive either during the conference, or just after the conference, immediately notify us with an email to ivc2022@c-linkage.co.jp.
- IVC-22 offers subsides for childcare online as well as on-site participants. For more details, please refer to the registration page.
Current Japanese Border Measures
Before Departure
To enter to Japan, all Participants require to "ERFS" registration to apply Visa.
As for application for "ERFS", it will not be completed without your accommodation information and address in Japan.

After completed "ERFS" registration to apply your Visa, please prepare for your quarantine.

Your quarantine depends on the classification of the country or region of your stay before arriving in Japan, and your vaccination status.

Certificate of Negative Test Result
It is required to submit "a certificate of negative test result" from specimen collected within 72 hours prior to departure. Check the requirements carefully as we accept it with only valid specimens and test method.
